Rio Grande Foot & Ankle Specialists is a busy practice with three offices in Northern New Mexico. We’re seeking an additional provider to help us keep up with the demands of the practice and to replace a provider who recently moved out of state. We currently have two other full-time providers with full schedules. We aim to fill the position immediately. We are looking for a provider who can work independently and confidently while providing quality and compassionate patient-based care.In a nurse practitioner, we hope to find someone who can perform pre-operative history and physicals, wound care, at risk evaluation and treatment for patients with diabetes or other qualifying conditions, ingrown toenail procedures, and treating other conditions of the foot and ankle such as plantar fasciitis, peripheral neuropathy, tendonitis, arthritis, gout, infections, fracture management, post-op care, and more. Some training on podiatry billing, procedures, imaging, and injections can be provided.We are seeking a provider with interest in staying in the area long-term to provide continuity of care for our patients.We are accepting full or part-time applicants for this position.Bilingual Spanish-speakers are a great benefit to this community, but are not required.Benefits:Benefits and salary are negotiable based on experience.
