Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Responsibilities: – We are looking to hire an APRN or an NP for 3 – 3.5 months to cover for FMLA providing care to patients in a hosptial setting. – Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients to determine their healthcare needs. – Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, including medication management, wound care, and other treatments. – Perform airway management procedures, including intubation and ventilation, as necessary. – Provide catheter care and assist with other medical procedures as required. – Utilize knowledge of ICD coding to accurately document patient diagnoses and treatments. – Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. – Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and self-care. – Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Requirements: – Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Florida. – Master’s degree in Nursing or related field. – Minimum of 1 year of experience as an APRN in a similar setting. – Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. – Excellent clinical skills with the ability to perform advanced nursing procedures. – Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members. – Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems. – Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
