Responsibilities:- Provide advanced nursing care to patients in a correctional facility- Conduct physical examinations and assessments- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as sonography- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed- Perform procedures, such as gastric lavage and catheter care- Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention -would prefer candidate come already with a collaboration agreement- Provide health coaching and counseling to patients Experience:- Must have a valid nursing license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare facility is preferred- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Epic, is a plus- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, is desirable -behavioral health experiecne a must Skills:- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and assessments- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team- Ability to provide comprehensive health coaching and counseling to promote patient well-being Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
