Responsibilities:- Provide advanced nursing care to patients in various settings.- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.- Perform medical procedures such as IV insertion, venipuncture, and medication administration.- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs.- Participate in utilization review activities to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources.- Willing to become certified for DOT or other Occupational Health. Qualifications:- Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Florida.- Master’s degree in nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist.- Certification as an APRN by a recognized national certifying body.- Proven experience in primary care or a related field is preferred.- Proficiency in medical documentation and EMR systems.- Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, medication administration, and venipuncture.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.- Knowledge in Pre-Op, EKG, and DOT is a plus.- Familiarity with medical office operations and workflows.
