DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF APRN/PA The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned. xefx82xb7 Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers. xefx82xb7 Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies while maintaining a comforting and reassuring affect for patients. xefx82xb7 Performs medical assessment of center patients, assessing approximately 30 patients per day. xefx82xb7 Completes medical charting within 48 hours. xefx82xb7 Oversees, directs and supports on site laboratory, x-rays, injections, and collections for direct access services, if applicable. xefx82xb7 Maintains clinical core competency. xefx82xb7 Assures compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies. xefx82xb7 Provides guidance to other medical staff (e.g. physician assistants, nurse practitioners and medical assistants) to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE xefx82xb7 A Masterxe2x80x99s degree and certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant certifying bodies. xefx82xb7 Minimum 2 years of experience as a provider is required; ED or Urgent Care experience is preferred.
