Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Needed

Attention, you MUST have at least 4+ years in clinical Dermatology to be considered thank you. Reputable private dermatology practice which is owned by Eric Rasmussen MD, a board certified dermatologist with 34 years of experience in the West Sound Region of Washington State. The practice has 4 MDxe2x80x99s; two General Dermatologist, one dermatapathologist and one Mohxe2x80x99s surgeon. 9 midlevel providers; 4 Nurse Practitioner and 5 Physician Assistants. There is an open position for a full time Dermatology ARNP with 3+ years in a clinic setting. The practice is expanding to meet patient demand. There are three offices, one in Gig Harbor WA, one in Silverdale, WA, and one in Tacoma, WA. Practice mix is currently 90% medical and 10% percent cosmetic. A NP would work 4-4.5 days per week doing general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Our General Dermatologist currently is booking out new patients 8 months in advance, MD skin surgeries 4 weeks, Mohxe2x80x99s surgery 3 weeks, our mid-level providers are booking out new patients about 2-3 months. There is a practice owned CLIA certified lab, our General Dermatologist reads most of his own slides with consultations as appropriate. The Gig Harbor office opened in 2004 and is an upscale clinic with 5,000 square feet of office space, 3 surgery suites for Mohs and 7 exam rooms, one of which is doubles as an additional surgery suite. Laser options at the Gig Harbor office include: Lumenis Encore (Fractional CO2), Light Sheer hair removal, Lumenis One IPL, Fraxel Dual 1550/1927, Clear & Brilliant Laser, and Smooth Beam. The Silverdale office is 2,000 square foot facility with 5 exam rooms and one surgery suite. The lasers at that facility include an Alexandrite hair removal laser, Clear & Brilliant, Iriderm (Diolite laser), and Vasculight (Lumenis IPL and 1064). The Tacoma office is approximently 1800 square feet with 5 exam room including 1 surgery suite. There are a total of 49 employees between all offices including 1 licensed Aesthetician, 2 histologist/Mohs histology technician and in-house billing. There are about 197,000 patients in the practice database, we continue to average over 150-200 or more new patients per week in the combined facilities and have had that record for over 5 years. Gig Harbor, WA is a quaint community.
