Family Nurse Practitioner

Duties- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation.- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients based on their specific needs and conditions.- Provide primary healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.- Perform minor procedures such as suturing wounds, administering injections, and removing sutures.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Qualifications- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Pediatrics).- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.- Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations, medication administration, suturing, and other relevant clinical skills.- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (epic/nextgen) is a plus.- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary for examinations or procedures.- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
