We are looking for a full-time professional Nurse Practitioner for our Tucson to work 4, 10 hour shifts (with no weekend shifts), who can deliver pain management medical care to a wide variety of patients. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records. The successful candidate will work as a team with our medical assistants, lab techs, and doctors, and will assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient.Responsibilities:Obtaining patient historiesPerforming physical examinationsOrdering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and/or physical therapyFormulating a diagnostic impressionImplementing treatment plansMonitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventionsOffering counseling and education to meet patient needsMaking/requesting appropriate referrals to specialistsCounseling and/or discharging non-compliant patientsPerforming/administering trigger point injections, joint injections, and occipital nerve block with or without ultrasound guidanceAuthorization/handling of incoming fax requests for medication refillsIdentification and referral to RISK Clinic for current patients when appropriateReview of monthly prescription monitoring reportsReview of radiology/lab reportsRemaining xe2x80x9con 2ndcallxe2x80x9d during non-clinic hours for one month, rotating with the other providers in our practiceRequirements:Friendly and caring personalityExcellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills; Excellent Patient CareBoard-certified Family and Adult Nurse PractitionerBasic Life Support BCLS CertificationCurrent and unrestricted DEA licenseStrong computer skills in EMRKnowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA complianceJob Type: Full-TimePay: DOEAdvanced Pain Management offers competitive pay as well as a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
