Position Overview:Optimum Care Hospitalist Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team on the day shift. As the Lead APRN, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership: Serve as a clinical leader and resource for the advance practioners, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans that optimize outcomes. Staff Development: Facilitate ongoing education and training initiatives for nursing staff to enhance clinical skills and promote professional growth. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for skills enhancement. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in patient care delivery. Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Monitor compliance with established clinical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to optimize patient care delivery processes. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. Communicate pertinent patient information, treatment plans, and care updates to the healthcare team in a clear and concise manner. Foster open communication channels to promote teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment. Administrative Duties: Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols related to nursing practice. Participate in strategic planning initiatives to support organizational goals and objectives. Serve as a liaison between, advance practioners , Hospitalists, nursing staff, management, and other departments to address operational issues and facilitate problem-solving. Qualifications: Masterxe2x80x99s degree in nursing from an accredited institution. Current Acute Care APRN licensure in Oklahoma. Certification as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner is mandatory. Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as an APRN in a hospital or healthcare setting. Proven leadership experience with a track record of effectively leading teams and driving positive outcomes. Strong clinical acumen, critical thinking skills, and ability to make sound clinical judgments. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and quality improvement.
