Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Otolaryngology)

Role The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care, including assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status. Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management are conducted in collaboration with other health care team members. As an employee of Enticare PC, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide care within the specialties of otolaryngology, sleep medicine and allergy health. To be successful in this role, one should be empathic but resolute in decision-making and attentive to detail. Essential responsibilities xc2xb7 Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients xc2xb7 Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patientxe2x80x99s age-specific needs xc2xb7 Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities xc2xb7 Assists with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations xc2xb7 Monitors the effectiveness of interventions xc2xb7 Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals xc2xb7 Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools xc2xb7 Models professionalism, responsibility, and integrity Minimum qualifications xc2xb7 Current AZ Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or AZ Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or Current AZ Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) Licensure xc2xb7 Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) xc2xb7 Eligible for hospital privileges xc2xb7 Current or eligible for DEA xc2xb7 Current or eligible for NPI Job Type: Full-time Pay: $78,608.00 – $154,755.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Malpractice insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Standard shift: Day shift Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday No weekends Work setting: Clinic In-person Outpatient Ability to Relocate: Glendale, AZ: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
