Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5 PM + weekend call will be rotated between 1-2 other providers (no village travel) Patient Volume: 8-10 patients a day TOTAL xe2x80x93 their providers all have rotating schedules and itxe2x80x99s low volume, but they need providers who can see xe2x80x9canythingxe2x80x9d that comes through the door, including trauma (3k-4k patients/year) only 600 people in the village Procedures: Bread and butter Family Practice in the clinic (no village travel), but weekend call may include trauma EMR: Cerner Licensure Needed: AK license Certifications Needed: DEA, BLS/ACLS, and ATLS Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: Comfortable working in RURAL areas, especially Alaska, and needing to be comfortable handling trauma if necessary.
