We are seeking a temporary Nurse Practitioner or PA to work during the months of July, August, September, and October 2024. This position entails almost full-time commitment. We are specifically looking for an individual with a minimum of two (2) years of experience to assist in covering the responsibilities of one of our Nurse Practitioners. We’re looking for someone who can commit to this time frame as soon as possible. Credentialing requirements will be conducted before August, and early commitment is crucial. Essential Functions and Duties xe2x97x8f Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill. xe2x97x8f Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patientxe2x80x99s age-specific needs. xe2x97x8f Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities. xe2x97x8f Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests. xe2x97x8f Documents patient care and services by charting all encounters in a timely manner. xe2x97x8f Facilitates the patientxe2x80x99s transition within and between health care settings, e.g., admitting, transferring, and discharging patients. xe2x97x8f Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools. xe2x97x8f Instructs and counsels patients by describing regimens, promoting wellness and health maintenance. xe2x97x8f Collaborates and escalates care to a consulting physician in a timely manner. Work Location: Multiple locations; Phoenix, AZ (East Valley) Hours: Monday to Friday, hours are flexible. Qualifications: xe2x97x8f Academic/degree is relevant to the field (Medical Health). xe2x97x8f Licensure in Arizona. xe2x97x8f Patient-centered and excellent communication skills. xe2x97x8f Experience and competency with computers, Electronic Medical Records, PDF, and MS office. xe2x97x8f Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive independently. xe2x97x8f Experience in chronic disease management and preventive care. xe2x97x8f 2+ years of experience.
