Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse PractitionerScottsdale, ArizonaAPN Staffing is NOW hiring for our client – Psych NP to join their expanding and growing team. This is a contract long-term position, with hours of (8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday) – 40 hours per weekHourly rate of pay during the contract is ($85.00-$90.00 an hour)General Job Duties:Collaborate with the nursing staff while providing psychiatric health services, education, counseling and emotional support to patientsIssues medication prescriptions in accordance with treatment guidelinesOrders laboratory tests, interprets and explains the test results to patientsConducting and interpreting mental health assessmentsPerforming exams and checkups for physical and mental healthGeneral Requirements:Graduation from an accredited School of NursingCurrent license as a PMHNP in the State of ArizonaAt least two year’s working experience as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with Detox experienceMust have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA licenseAPN Staffing offer’s benefits after 90 day’s that include Medical, Dental and Vision during the contract
