JOB SUMMARY:xc2xa0The CRNP shall perform clinical (diagnostic/therapeutic) functions and procedures as appropriate to the scope of preparation and specialty certification for which competency has been validated and maintained and as reflected in the CRNP protocol approved by Alabama Board of Nursing.xc2xa0EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:xc2xa0 xc2xa0 xc2xa0 xc2xa0 xc2xa0Required:xc2xa0 xc2xa0 Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama is required for approval and for subsequent renewal of approval. Masterxe2x80x99s prepared or higher degree in nursing and graduation from a nurse practitioner educational program. Certification as a nurse practitioner in the appropriate area of practice from a national certifying body recognized by the Alabama Board of Nursing.xc2xa0xc2xa0 xc2xa0xc2xa0xc2xa0LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:xc2xa0 Required:xc2xa0 xc2xa0 Current Alabama CRNP license.
