NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP) LOCATION: San Antonio, TX JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME Why Centric Physicians? We service the geriatric population in various areas of Texas, Utah, and Wyoming! Our administrative office is located in Boerne, TX where we also have an outpatient primary care and behavioral health clinic. Majority of our providers are out in the field, with their own set schedule, seeing patients in various post-acute settings. Job Summary: We are interested in a highly motivated and independent Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Centric Physicians! We offer plenty of administrative support for our providers xe2x80x93 including a 24 hour clinical call center to assist with around the clock support, eliminating the need for our provider to take their own call on a day to day basis. Our service area spans over the Greater San Antonio Region and the location for this position will be focused on Southern San Antonio and surrounding towns such as Jourdanton, Pleasanton, and Floresville. Education: Nurse Practitioner license required. Must have own vehicle and be able to drive to different locations each day. Articulate speech that is understandable over the telephone. Current unrestricted NP license is required. Must have basic computer skills to include data entry. Must have own smart phone and portable computer (company device can be administered upon request). Experience: Minimum one year experience in the healthcare field as an NP. Performance Requirements: – Knowledge of healthcare field and medical specialty – Knowledge of medical terminology – Knowledge of HIPPA regulations as applied to healthcare business and practice operations – Knowledge of EMRs – Skill in exceptional customer service and patient care – Skill in ability to maintain effective and organized systems Work Environment: Position is in a well-lighted medical facility environment. Physical Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with a Nurse Practitioner position. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines. Salary Range: Internal RVU compensation plan. Salary based on volume of patients.
