Responsibilities: Provide primary care to patients in a variety of settings. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Diagnose and Treat patients. Prescribe medications and treatments. Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Refer patients to specialists or other practitioners when necessary. Document patient care services in medical records.
