Nurse Practitioner, Dermatology and/or Plastic Surgery

Job Description Company: EliteMD offers a variety of medical and cosmetic treatments performed by Plastic Surgeon and highly trained Dermatology providers. EliteMD thrives in Advanced Dermatology, Laser, and Plastic Surgery and is seeking an enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join and grow with the Elite team! Role: In this position you will be consulting and treating patients while providing extraordinary dedication to patient care. This position is full time Monday-Friday, as well as part-time and must be flexible with schedule (include timings). Our office is growing rapidly and we would like an individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and maintain Patient-care service as a priority Roles and Responsibilities: LIPO ASSISTING Experience Appreciated Perform thorough patient consultations thru medical history review and interpretation of diagnostics Able to evaluate, diagnosis, plan and treat various skin conditions using comprehensive assessment and diagnostic reasoning Ability to take good before/after photos and accurately chart Consultation and referral to dermatologists and other health care professionals when clinically appropriate to provide comprehensive care Manage patient retention and good patient follow up Recommend various skincare treatment regimens Use superior interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to patients and support staff Communicates effectively with the physician and staff to ensure patient’s well-being Essential Skills and Abilities: Passion for beauty and wellness Advanced experience doing cosmetic dermatology fillers – Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, etc and laser treatments preferred Hybrid Role between Dermatology and Plastics. Assists with Plastic Surgery a bonus! Knows fillers, including filling with fat/fat transfers, and good faith exams in arthritics Complete pre-operative assessment and assist with physicians post-surgical appointments Ability to maintain accurate and current files: medical history, patient notes and consent forms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team Player but can still work independently Certifications & License: Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the California Board of Registered Nursing Certified by the state of California as a Nurse Practitioner Environment: Outpatient Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday On call Weekend availability License: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) (Preferred) Work Location: In person
