This position is located in a the North Side of Chicago and is FT – 5 days a week M-F with NO CALL OR HOLIDAY. We are looking for an NP who has strong clinical skills, is a good communicator and shows initiative. Acute care or LTC experience preferred. We require a minimum commitment of one year, but strongly desire a long term commitment with loyal and dedicated employees who can partner with us.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Examines, diagnoses and treats newly admitted patients and existing patients in EMRxc2xb7 Collaborates and communicates with Primary Physician and facility nursing staffxc2xb7 Performs comprehensive physical examinationsxc2xb7 Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic testsxc2xb7 Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatmentxc2xb7 Collaborates and communicates with healthcare professionals, patient and family of patientxc2xb7 Records physical findings in EMR/Patients Records within specific time framexc2xb7 Submits and reports all scheduling, payroll and billing in a timely mannerxc2xb7 Effectively communicates with colleagues and facility staff for all facility problemsxc2xb7 Attends bi-monthly meetingsxc2xa0Qualifications:xc2xb7 Required education: Masterxe2x80x99s Degreexc2xb7 Required license or certification: Nurse Practitioner certification, IL APN and CS lic, DEAxc2xb7 Required:1+ years of experiencexc2xb7 Preferred:An acute care background or LTC experiencexc2xa0Paragon has created a unique environment where patients and clinicians feel valued and well cared for.
