We are a family practice and we are hiring a mid-level provider: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work part time in our north Miami and Broward locations. Children to Geriatrics population- healthcare for the whole family. Provider will be responsible for providing general health care and treatment. You will report to the medical director; however, you are essentially building your individual practice. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to; 1. Examines patient, performs, comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. 2. Performs preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines. 3. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. 4. Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, gynecology exams, wound care, managing infection, etc. 6. Submits health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review and evaluation with Physician. 7. Administers, prescribes or recommends medication or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. 8. Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance. 9. Refers patients to Specialty Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment. 10. Communicates with parents/families on client progress and health needs identified upon site visits and/or follow-up visits. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Graduated from an accredited schoolFlorida ARNP, FNP-BC.Florida PA-C BLS/ACLS, HIV, Domestic Violence. Valid Florida Driver’s License, Valid Automobile Insurance (Liability/Malpractice Insurance optional). A Confidentiality Agreement is required and must be signed upon commencement of service *Must be PECOS Certified and be able to prescribe; DEA license preferred.*Must have unencumbered license Current, unrestricted State NP / PA license with a minimum of one year of family care experience.* Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPC codes*Must be fluent in English and Spanish.*Must be willing to work Saturdays 9am – 1pm*Must have EMR experience and computer skills* Knowledge of clinical standards of care.* Awareness about CMS guidelines, and Medicaid/Medicare contracts and benefit systems is helpful.*Practice in accordance with the respective state laws and regulations governing the practice of advanced practice nursing ***NO RECRUITERS*** EMR Used: Tebra Hours per week: 20-40 Qualifications: NP Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:1 Uniform: Scrubs are provided Patient Type: Pediatric Adults Geriatric Family Women’s Health Relocation Assistance Provided: No Typical end time: 6PM Typical start time: 9AM Work Remotely No Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Medical specialties: Internal Medicine Primary Care Standard shift: Day shift Supplemental pay types: Bonus opportunities Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work setting: Clinic In-person Private practice Urgent care center Application Question(s): Are you willing to work in either Kendall or Homestead location?
