The hours of work are generally 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. but may vary depending on the needs of the program as we cover at least 15 programs and each home has different hours. The Registered Nurse Consultant assesses and diagnoses the needs of the individual, develops individualized nursing plans to meet those needs in coordination with the multi-disciplinary team, and coordinates and guides the provision of health care services, protocols and strategies for individuals supported in CBS sites. Responsibilities: Participating as an active member of the clinical team, supporting the CBS Medical Doctor (MD) and CBS Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to facilitate the delivery of health supports. Collaborate with other CBS medical care providers to ensure continuity of care for individuals. Providing education and training options and opportunities to persons’ supported so that we promote independence, self-determination and support community inclusion. Demonstrating professional competency in the field of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health and Person Center Service Delivery so that individuals served have resources to assist them and their care providers in managing their health concerns. Current State of Minnesota Employees are not eligible for the hiring bonus Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Current licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse; AND Bachelors of Nursing Degree, plus two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse; OR Associate’s degree or diploma in nursing, plus three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse Certification in an area of expertise equals one (1) year of Registered Nurse experience Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
